Pre-K – Mrs. Duggan

Mrs. Nancy Duggan started her career at St. John’s School, in the Bronx teaching second grade. From there, Mrs. Duggan taught the Pre-School at the Children’s Enrichment Center in Blauvelt, as well as running their summer camp. Mrs. Duggan came to St. Anthony School in 1995 as the Kindergarten aide for two years. In 1997, she started the Pre-K program and has nurtured its development ever since.
Mrs. Duggan completed her undergraduate degree in English at Dominican College in Blauvelt and received a Masters of Science degree in Early Childhood Education at the College of New Rochelle. She is also NYS certified (N-6) and has Levels 1 and 2 completed in Religion from the Archdiocese of New York.

Kindergarden – Mrs. Ladolcetta

kindergartenMy passion for educating the early learner has not changed since arriving at St. Anthony’s in 1983. I am originally from Brooklyn having attended parochial school from Pre-K through college. My degree is in Early Childhood Education and I was honored to be recognized as a Master Teacher from the Superintendent of Schools of the Archdiocese of New York. Before coming to Rockland County, I taught at Our Lady of Grace also as their Kindergarten Teacher. I believe that the children are our future. Through their eyes, they continue to help me see ALL the colors of the rainbow.

First Grade – Sr. Lynn

first_gradeSister Lynn is a Dominican Sister of Sparkill, NY. She attended Saint Thomas Aquinas College for her undergraduate studies in education, and later received her Masters in Education from William Paterson College, NJ, and permanent certification N-6 from NYS. Sister also received Levels 1 and 2 Certification in Religion from the Archdiocese of NY.
Sister Lynn’s teaching ministry began over 40 years ago in St. Gregory Barbarigo School, Garnerville, NY. She also taught in St. Christopher School, Red Hook, NY, and now at St. Anthony School, Nanuet. Sister has had experience teaching in grades 1-6 and 7th grade Religion.

Second Grade – Mrs. McGuirk

second_gradeI am currently teaching second grade at St. Anthony School. I have a Bachelors degree in psychology and elementary education from the College of Mount Saint Vincent as well as a Masters degree in education from the College of New Rochelle. I have been teaching since 1977.
I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I will help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist children in discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and nurture their own ideas.

Third Grade – Mrs. Caporale


Mrs. Caporale graduated college with a degree in elementary education and Sociology and went on to get her Masters in Special Education in grades one through six. She began teaching in 2000, she has taught Pre-school, Kindergarten and Second grade. She worked at St. Peter School in Haverstraw until it closed in June of 2012. Her journey here at St. Anthony began when she was lucky enough to get a leave replacement in September of 2013 in Kindergarten and her luck continued when Mrs. Driscoll announced her retirement and Sr. Pat asked her to stay on as a full-time faculty member. She is currently teaching ELA to third grade and fourth grade as well as third grade Religion, and Social Studies.

Fourth Grade – Mrs. R. Timpone


Mrs. Timpone started her teaching career in the Diocese of Brooklyn where she taught third grade. After raising her family she taught second grade at St. Augustine, New City until the school closed in June 2012. She has a B.A. in Romance Languages and Education. She taught Italian at Highview Elementary, Nanuet, N.Y (enrichment program). She studied her M.S. as a Reading Specialist. She currently teaches fourth grade Math, S.S., Science and Religion as well as third grade Math and Science at St. Anthony.

Fifth Grade – Mr. Andreas

Mr. Andreas is presently the 5th grade teacher at St. Anthony School. This will be his first year at St. Anthony’s and his first year teaching Fifth Grade Science.

He holds a Bachelors of Social Science from SUNY College at Oneonta and is finishing his Masters Degree in Adolescent Education from Long Island University.

Sixth Grade – Mrs. Henn

Mrs. Henn is currently the 6th Grade teacher at St. Anthony School. She has taught 1st, 2nd, 5-8 Social Studies, 6-8 Science and 6th and 7th Grade Religion. She started at St. Anthony in 1989, teaching second grade. Mrs. Henn began her teaching career at St. Lucy’s School, in the Bronx ,in 1984 ,where she taught 2nd grade.
Mrs. Henn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dominican College in Blauvelt as well as post- graduate studies at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill. She has earned Level I and II certification in Religious Catechist Formation.

Seventh Grade – Mrs. Zecchin

Mrs. Angela Zecchin has been teaching at St. Anthony for 3 years. Prior to coming to St. Anthony’s, Mrs. Zecchin taught in the North Rockland School District. During her first two years at St. Anthony’s, Mrs. Zecchin was a part time teacher who taught the accelerated 7 and 8 grade math classes, as well as, the Integrated Algebra class.
This is Mrs. Zecchin’s first year as a full time teacher at St. Anthony’s School. She is the 7th grade homeroom teacher where she also teaches religion. In addition, Mrs. Zecchin teaches 7th and 8th grade Science and Math, as well as, the Integrated Algebra class, which meets after regular classes during, 9th period.
Mrs. Zecchin is a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas where she received a B.S. and M.S. in Education. Mrs. Zecchin holds a dual certification in regular and
special education.

Eighth Grade – Miss M

Ms. Mastropietro began her career as a 4th grade Language Arts teacher at St. Anthony School. She is currently the 8th grade homeroom teacher where she also teaches Religion. In addition, Ms. Mastropietro teaches 7th and 8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. She has also taught Language Arts and Social Studies in grades 5-8 and a self contained 3rd grade class.
Ms. Mastropietro has a B.S. in Education from St. Thomas Aguinas College and a Masters in Reading from C.W. Post. She also received Levels 1 and 2 Certification in Religion from the Archdiocese of New York.

Library Sr. Dottie

library2Sr. Dottie is a Dominican Sister of Sparkill. She has taught in the Brooklyn Diocese as well as the Archdiocese of New York. She holds a B.A. in English from St. Thomas Aquinas College and a Master’s in Library Science from St.John’s University. Her New York State certification is N-6 and 7-12 in English. Sister has completed Levels I and II for the Archdiocesan Religion Certification Program.

Computer – Mrs. Bilsky

Mrs. Bilsky is a computer professional with over 25 years of technical and professional training experience. While at IBM, she held positions in programming, management, and instructional design and delivery. She then served as a training consultant for BOCES and the Rockland Teachers Center.

In 2000, Chris joined the St Anthony School staff. Her responsibilities include providing computer instruction to students in grades K through 8, supporting the faculty in the use of technology and coordinating the expansion of technology in the library and classrooms.
Chris is married with 2 adult children. She attended Catholic elementary and high school and holds an A.S. in Mathematics.
