I wish you a warm welcome back to a new school year and a special welcome to all the new families joining the St. Anthony Community. I hope you continue to enjoy the remaining beautiful days of summer and will be ready to begin the new school year as enthusiastically as our faculty and staff.
This year, many opportunities for parental involvement will be scheduled both by the school and the Home School Association, therefore, I ask you to become an active participant, so we may celebrate the accomplishments of your children together.
The faculty and I are looking forward to continuing instruction following Common Core Standards for English Language Arts (including reading across the curriculum) and Mathematics. We have been participating in NYS and Archdiocesan in-service this past year and are eager to continue the transition to the Common Core. You will receive more information on this initiative during the school year.
Good communication between parents and faculty members is essential for your child’s education and his/her growth and development. I look forward to working with you and let us continue to build the community of St. Anthony together.
May our good and gracious God fill you with abundant blessings and graces as we begin the new school year.

Thank you so much for your support of our recent book fair.
It was a great success and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
You know of course, there is a tremendous amount of work to be done before, during and after any major event.
Therefore I would like to thank the many parents and grandparents that helped out at our Book Fair. Our school is blessed with so many people with generous spirits. It was indeed an act of love for all those involved.
May God continue to bless all of you.
